Whether it’s an international crisis, the death of a prominent figure, or a serious incident in the UK, the recall of parliament usually signifies a big event in UK politics and it doesn’t happen very often.
However, the last 10 years have been tumultuous to say the least. The 18th August 2021 was the 11th time in ten years that parliament has been recalled.
