MP hopeful that government can ‘bring off huge opportunity’ with UK-India trade deal

MP for Harrow East, Bob Blackman, gave a speech on the UK-India trade deal to Westminster Hall, highlighting the “huge opportunities for not just the big companies, small companies as well”.

Blackman told the Hall that the UK must “embrace the opportunities” of leaving the European Union and “negotiating as a free trade nation”.

The MP for Harrow East noted that the UK “should not underestimate the difficulties that we may face” given that the EU and the USA have so far found “no success”.
