MP on Russia and China: ‘We need foresight to defend the future of humanity’

In a debate on the UK’s relationship with Russia and China, Conservative MP, Bob Seely, told MPs that polls in Russia say that nuclear “war with the West is now more likely than not”.

The MP for the Isle of Wight told the House that the UK needs “foresight to defend the future of humanity” from authoritarianism “championed by Russia”.

Seely spoke of the UK’s need “clean up its own house”, by implementing new bills to protect against issues such as foreign lobbying.
