New crime bill will provide ‘more transparency’

Justice Minister Kit Malthouse faced scrutiny in the Commons ahead of the vote on the government’s long-awaited crime bill.

While he “acknowledged some of the problems with the amendments”, Malthouse told the House that “women deserve a stronger protection”.

The minister believes that this bill will bring more “transparency” making analysis by the police easier.
