Ben Wallace – Ukraine update

In a statement, Defence minister Ben Wallace updated the House on how the UK has continued to increase supply of defensive weapons to Ukraine in a “calibrated” way to avoid escalation. 

The minister told the House that the UK “should take strength from people across Europe who are standing shoulder to shoulder to protect our values”. 

The minister also admitted that the government needs to “do the visa bit faster” as home secretary Priti Patel faced criticism.
