MP hopes P&O Ferries ‘go down the toilet’

During the opposition day debate on P&O Ferries and employment rights, Conservative MP Craig Mackinlay made a passionate contribution in which he said he hopes “P&O Ferries go down the toilet”. 

Mackinlay told the House of his desire for a “new carrier to deal with local people properly”, hiring in the “appropriate way”.

He also made it clear that he will “never be using P&O Ferries again”.
