Bryant asks for debate on ‘intelligence of Conservative members’
During questions to the leader of the House, Labour’s Chris Bryant asked a provocative question, calling for a debate on “the intelligence of Conservative members”.
This follows claims by Conservative ministers that prime ministers cannot be changed during wars, despite multiple examples to the contrary.
Leader of the House Mark Spencer responded by telling Bryant that he had five and a half hours to make “party political points”, referring to the privilege debate on Boris Johnson later in the day.
