Imran Hussain blasts government for ‘choosing human rights abuses that favour them’
During foreign affairs questions, Labour’s Imram Husssain told foreign secretary Liz Truss that the government “can’t pick and choose human rights abuses around the world that favour them”.
This follows prime minister Boris Johnson’s visit to India in which he did not raise the human rights issues taking place in Kashmir with the Indian government.
Hussain called the Mobi government of India “increasingly Islamophobic” and “right wing”.
