Robin Millar is the Conservative MP for Aberconwy, having first been elected to Parliament in 2019 with a majority of 2,034 over the Labour Party.
Aberconwy is found within the county of Clwyd and covers Llandudno, Conwy, Llandudno Junction and the surrounding area along the North Wales coast. It then spreads south to include a large rural area. Although this seat has been held by the Conservatives since 2010, this is a long time marginal constituency which regularly experiences close electoral contests.
Born in 1968 in nearby Bangor, Robin Millar was educated at Manchester University and worked as an engineer before becoming a Member of Parliament. He has previously set up a number of businesses, including RJ Millar Consulting Ltd.
For a number of years he was elected to Suffolk County Council.

Millar is a Christian and is a former director of the Conservative Christian Fellowship.
He is a member of the All Party Parliamentary Groups on Brazil, the British Overseas Territories, Coastal Communities, and Outdoor Learning.
