Robin Hood Tax campaign: Banks must pay for casino capitalism

Robin Hood Tax campaign spokesperson David Hillman comments ahead of the government's response to the Independent Commission on Banking:

"This is an acid test of the government's willingness to take on the vested interests of the City in the wider public interest.

“But action to protect us from the future excesses of casino capitalism needs to be matched by measures to ensure banks pay their fair share for the last crisis, which continues to affect millions of people outside the Square Mile."
