Anti-troop protests result in arrests

Two people have been arrested after anti-war protestors targeted a homecoming parade by British troops.
The demonstrators held up placards such as “Butchers of Basra” as members of the 2nd Battalion the Royal Anglian Regiment marched through Bedfordshire.
Members of the public, some waving British and St George’s flags, had to be held back from the anti-war protestors by police.
Two members of the public were held for public order offences.
