Burnham under fire for data loss

Andy Burnham is facing severe criticism for leaving confidential papers on a train.
The media secretary issued apologised “unreservedly” for the mistake.
“What happened was unacceptable and I apologise unreservedly,” he said.
The papers, marked ‘restricted’, were left when he arrived at Euston station in London on Saturday.
The papers did not contain sensitive information. A passenger found them and handed them in to police in Glasgow.
