Harman faces Commons reform questions

Harriet Harman will give evidence to MPs on reform of the House of Commons later this morning.
The leader of the House will be questioned by Tony Wright and the members of his specially formed committee from 11:00 GMT.
It was established in the wake of the expenses scandal on July 20th last year to consider how the Commons’ scrutiny of the government could be improved.
The committee published its report in November, which called for the direct election of select committee chairs and the creation of a backbench business committee which would control the Commons’ agenda.
Ms Harman will appear alongside her Conservative and Liberal Democrat shadows, Sir George Young and David Heath, as MPs question them on the progress made on their report.
