Clegg takes his cue at the snooker
By Aled Thomas
Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg will campaign at the snooker world championships today.
The MP for Sheffield Hallam will visit the Crucible theatre in the city, along with the Lib Dem candidate for the city centre Paul Scriven.
Mr Clegg will make a speech to the crowd assembled to watch the championship’s semi-finals this afternoon – and will surely hope, with a week to go to polling day – that voters will be lining up for the yellow.
Before that he will speak to workers at Smith, a family clock-makers in Derby following his question and answer session this morning with students at Leicester’s de Montfort University.
