New deputy Speakers revealed

Speaker John Bercow’s three deputies have been chosen by MPs.
Two Labour deputy Speakers and one government-side deputy were appointed after the Commons used the alternative vote system to decide which were successful.
Labour MP Lindsay Hoyle becomes chairman, Tory MP Nigel Evans becomes first deputy chairman and former Labour minister Dawn Primarolo becomes second deputy chairman.
Other candidates included Tom Clarke, George Howarth, Marsha Singh, Geoffrey Clifton-Brown, Roger Gale and Anne McIntosh.
At least one woman had to be elected as a deputy Speaker, significantly increasing the chances of Ms Primarolo and Ms McIntosh.
The winners will serve for the entire parliament which, under the coalition government’s plans, is expected to last the full five years.
