Polls shows low public confidence in coalition

A new poll suggests most members of the public do not believe the coalition will survive its five-year parliamentary term.
The poll, conducted by Harris for the Metro newspaper, reveals that 52% of people think the Lib-Con pact is unlikely to last the full five years.
Younger voters are the most sceptical, with only 29% of those aged 18 to 24 thinking the current arrangements will last until 2015, compared to 37% of the general population.
Voters remain generally pleased with the way the aftermath of the election panned out, however, with 40% of people saying they are satisfied with the alliance and just 23% saying they are dissatisfied.
Once again, younger voters are the least enamoured, with 31% satisfied and 30% dissatisfied.
