Florence Rose Endellion Cameron has finally come to her home in No 10 Downing Street, 11 days after being born.
David and Samantha Cameron beamed proudly as they brought the new addition to the family to their rather unique home.
Asked by gathered journalists if the baby was keeping them awake, Samantha replied: “Yes.”
A statement from the prime minister read: “Samantha and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their kindness and generosity since the birth of baby Florence.
“We have been really, really touched by all the people who have offered their warm congratulations, and by the many cards, gifts and flowers that we have received.”
The baby’s name includes a reference to the village of St Endellion on the Cornish coast, which was close to where the family was staying when the baby was unexpectedly born.
