Historian David Starkey was accused of being "racist" and "outrageous" by Ed Miliband today.
The attack was just the latest assault on his character after an incendiary performance on Newsnight last Friday saw him say that "whites have become black" in a bid to explain the rioting.
Mr Miliband said histhe appearance was full of "racist comments".
Speaking at his old school, Haverstock School in Chalk Farm, the Labour leader said it was "absolutely outrageous that someone in the 21st century could be making that sort of comment".
He added: "There should be condemnation from every politician, from every political party of those sorts of comments."
