MPs to face new drinking rules

MPs will be subject to new rules on the consumption of alcohol in parliament, after Eric Joyce was found guilty of a drunken assault.
The incident, which took place in the Strangers' Bar, triggered a rethink of the rules around drinking in the parliamentary estate by Speaker John Bercow.
Bars are expected to be told to refuse drinks to members who look "tired and emotional". They may also shorten opening hours and raise prices.
Mr Joyce is understood to have finished a bottle of wine before he attacked several Tory MPs and others in the Strangers' Bar. He has since quit the Labour party and admitted personal problems.
The review is expected to be completed by the end of April.
