The Vegan Pod is back! The Vegan Society’s Podcast returns for 2022!
Look out for the first episode of The Vegan Pod on 14 February
The Vegan Society has today (11 February) announced the return of its podcast The Vegan Pod.
Hosted by The Vegan Society’s Media and PR Officer, Francine Jordan, the podcast will delve into topical issues faced by the vegan community.
Each month different guests will be invited on to share their thoughts and experiences on a range of issues, from love and dating to health and wellness and everything in between. It follows on from the success of the first series of The Vegan Pod, which launched during the Covid-19 pandemic.
You can find all the episodes over on Podbean and they will also be available on Google Podcasts and on Apple iTunes. The Vegan Society also want to hear from you and will be encouraging listeners to join in the conversation on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
Podcast host, Francine Jordan, said: “The Vegan Pod is such a great way for us to engage with the vegan and vegan-curious community. In my role as Media and PR Officer, I spend my time reading and responding to vegan news items and sharing the stories of vegans up and down the country. That’s why I jumped at the chance to host the podcast and provide a space for different voices on a wide-range of vegan issues. I’m particularly excited to cover those areas that require a more in-depth discussion.”
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, the podcast team thought it was a great opportunity to deep-dive into the world of vegan dating. The first episode asks, ‘should vegans only date other vegans?’ and includes insights from Lewis Foster, founder & CEO of Grazer, the plant-based connection app, and self-love and confidence coach and BBC Radio presenter, Claira Hermet.
Rachel Bowcutt, Communications Manager, added: “Francine and the team have been working hard to relaunch The Vegan Pod for 2022. Every day our members and supporters’, as well as vegans from the wider community, come to us with questions on everything; from vegan nutrition and education, to campaigns, events and vegan rights queries too. The podcast is a fantastic way to showcase what we do at The Vegan Society and where our work fits in while also sharing the thoughts of our guest panel too. We are really pleased to be able to bring this podcast to you once again.”
The first episode will launch on Monday 14 February. We value your feedback, so please send your thoughts on the podcast to podcast@vegansociety.com.
