Business Questions: Chris Bryant on sanctioning individuals

Following business questions to the leader of the House, Labour MP Chris Bryant urged the government to “move much faster” after only sanctioning “nine individuals”. This follows the prime referring to “hundreds” of individuals that have been sanctioned.

Bryant asked whether MPs could “think of clever ways in parliament using parliamentary privilege” to advance these sanctions, as he had sone to the prime minister on the previous day.

Leader of the House Mark Spencer said that the government are “drawing up a list” and was “sure that there would be an update soon”.
