Chris Bryant MP asks PM if he feels ‘ashamed’ of UK’s response to Russian aggression towards Ukraine

During prime minister’s questions, Labour MP Chris Bryant asked Boris Johnson whether he feels “ashamed” of UK’s response to Russian aggression towards Ukraine as well as whether parliamentary privilege should be used to stop lawyers protecting the sanctioned individuals.

Bois Johnson told the House that we “simply have to accept” the measures being taken in the way that they are “because the consequences of direct confrontation between the UK and Russia would not be easy to control”.

The prime minister also said he felt no “shame” but was “proud of what the UK have been able to do so far”.
