In an urgent question related to the cheating that had occurred during ‘TOEIC’ English exams, Labour MP, Stephen Timms, said that the home office have “failed to ask the most basic questions’”.
Timms then went on to highlight that “no appeal was available” following the visas being cancelled for 30,000 students.
In a statement, the deputy home officer minister, Kevin Foster, revealed that the Home Office’s investigation had found “systemic cheating” and that it was waiting for the determination of a subsequent case labelled “RK/DK”, which will impact the “future approach”.
