Latham calls for GBR headquarters to go to Derby to avoid the East Midlands being ‘left behind’
In her Westminster Hall speech, Pauline Latham called on the government to help level up Derby by choosing the city as the headquarters for Great British Railways.
Latham told the Hall that the East Midlands are “often left behind” when it comes to public funding. Therefore, levelling up is important to Derby.
The Conservative MP explained that Derby is a part of rail history and its innovation makes it “the future” for GBR.
