‘Levelling up must benefit everyone’

A leader in the arts sector has warned the government its levelling up agenda must deliver for ” people with multiple lived experiences”.

Giving evidence to the culture committee, Clare Reddington, CEO of Watershed, said: “We want to ensure everyone’s voices are heard in inventing the future.

“there’s a set of futurists, people who work for government departments and technology companies and they’re pretty engaged in delivering the future that most benefits them.”
