Minister hopeful of trade deal with Texas ‘by October’

During international trade questions, international development minister Penny Mordaunt told the House of Commons that a “state level agreement with Texas” will be done, she hopes “by October”.

Mordaunt revealed that the UK are in discussions with “around 20 US states”.

The deal with Texas Woolf open the UK to a market equivalent to the seventh largest economy in the world.
