Shadow Business Secretary: ‘This is a high tax government’

The Minister for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Kwasi Kwarteng, faced questions from the Shadow Secretary for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Seema Malhotra.

Once again, the government came under fire from Labour over fraud, which has created “4.6 million victims each year”.

Malhotra alleged that “this is a high tax government because they’ve created a low growth economy”. A criticism to which Kwarteng responded by saying that he will “always fight against their (Labour’s) socialism”.
