Thomson labels Johnson ‘Pinocchio prime minister’
During prime minister’s questions, SNP MP Richard Thomson called for prime minister Boris Johnson to “pack his bags”, labelling him a “Pinocchio prime minister”.
Speaker of the House Sir Lindsey Hoyle ordered the SNP MP to withdraw the use of “Pinocchio”, something that Thomson agreed to do “if he (the prime minister) packs his bags and goes”.
Johnson told the House that it would be “nice to have an ounce of sense” from the the SNP.
