Antoniazzi, Tonia

Tonia Antoniazzi is‌ ‌the Labour‌ ‌MP‌ ‌for‌ Gower‌,‌ ‌having‌ ‌first‌ ‌been‌ ‌elected‌ ‌to‌ ‌Parliament‌ ‌in 2017‌. She was‌ re-‌elected‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌2019‌ ‌General‌ ‌Election‌ ‌with‌ ‌a‌ ‌majority‌ ‌of‌ 1,837 over‌ ‌the‌ ‌Conservative Party.‌ ‌

The constituency of Gower contains a section of the city of Swansea, and then spreads out into the Gower peninsula to include the seaside resort of the Mumbles, the coast around Worms Head, and the former mining towns of Pontardulais and Gorseinon. Born‌ ‌in 1971 to a Welsh mother and Italian father, Tonia studied French and Italian at Exeter University, before gaining a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from Cardiff University‌.
