Ben Everitt is the Conservative MP for Milton Keynes North, having first been elected to Parliament in the 2019 general election with a majority of 6,255 over the Labour Party.
Milton Keynes North is located in Buckinghamshire. The marginally more affluent of the two Milton Keynes constituencies, Milton Keynes North spreads out of the ‘new town’ and into the surrounding villages. The local economy is heavily influenced by distribution, with Amazon having a large base in Milton Keynes.
Born in 1979, Ben Everitt was educated at Durham University. He worked as Head of Strategy at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and a formerly as a Consultant for the accounting firm, Deloitte. The Register of Members Interests showed that Everitt continued as a paid strategic advisor to the Institute of Chartered of Accountants through 2020.
Ben Everitt served as a Councillor on Aylesbury Vale District Council between 2015 and 2020.
Everitt is the Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Groups on Housing Delivery, Business in a Pandemic World (Covid), and on Connected and Automated Mobility.
He is interested in the issue of driverless cars.
He is a member of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Brazil, on Council Housing, Financial Markets and Services, Regeneration, and Shared Ownership Housing.
He is is married with three children and likes rugby.
