Suzanne Webb is the Conservative MP for Stourbridge, having first been elected to Parliament in 2019 with a majority of 13,571 over the Labour Party.
The Stourbridge constituency in the West Midlands covers the towns of Stourbridge, Amblecote, Quarry Bank, in an compact urban area to the south of Dudley. Although the seat was held by the Labour Party between 1997 and 2010, it was regained by the Conservatives in 2010. Some 63.7% of the local electorate supported Brexit in the 2016 EU referendum.
Born in 1966, Suzanne worked for a global logistics provider for 29 years, rising to a management level and auditing large project investments across a Global Platform. The register of Members Interests shows her now to be a shareholder in Newhall Consultancy Ltd, a management consultancy firm.
Prior to being elected to Parliament, Webb had been elected to Birmingham City Council in 2018, and was the Regional Chair of the West Midlands Conservative Party.
She supported Remain in the 2016 EU referendum but has since come to support Brexit.
At Westminster she is the co Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Road Passenger Transport – Recovery and Renewal, and a member of the All Party Parliamentary Group on 22q11 Syndrome.
