Sacha Lord, the co-founder of Manchester’s Parklife music festival, has warned that that the UK festival scene could “disappear” if they cannot go ahead in 2021.
Mr Lord was giving evidence to the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee’s hearing on the future of UK music festivals.
The industry continues to face an uncertain future, with no clear timescale on when mass-gatherings can resume.
