Priti Patel has rebuffed suggestions from Labour that the current quarantining system is ‘in disarray’.
Ms Patel was responding to an urgent question in the House of Commons on current border measures in the UK.
The home secretary also refused to answer whether international arrivals will soon have to undergo a 10-day hotel quarantine to protect against new strains of coronavirus entering the UK.
